Before entering the Serra da Arrábida, finish the visit with a delicious pie of Azeitão, one of the most typical sweets of the region made with sheep’s milk.
The tour continues through the Serra da Arrábida with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Tróia Peninsula. Perfect moment and place to photographically register this protected area and known not only for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters but also for its diverse fauna and flora.
Leaving the Natural Park of Serra da Arrábida, contemplate Portinho da Arrábida surrounded by its natural vegetation and ideal place to relax with family.
We continue to Setúbal, born of the river and the sea where we suggest a stop for lunch in one of the numerous and typical restaurants that count on an immense variety of fresh fish and seafood, and the famous Choco Frito specialty.
After lunch departure towards the city of Palmela, conquered by D. Afonso Henriques to the Moors in 1147. We visited the Castle of Palmela dating from the 9th century and with a quota of 240 meters above the average sea level. On days of clearer visibility you can see the city of Lisbon. We will return to Lisbon through one of the largest bridges in Europe, Ponte Vasco da Gama, with about 16km of extension, where we will certainly appreciate the best views.
