Europe, bound for Évora.

The city of Évora is a strong testimony of the Roman presence in Portugal where we can

Roman Temple or Temple of Diana, the Sé de Évora, the Giraldo square and the Bones Chapel.

Show All

To the northeast of Évora, Estremoz looks more like an enchanted village. Managed to win battles
against the Castilians and during the liberal struggles. The high city with the wall and
13th century is well preserved, and its greatest icon is the imposing
Three Crowns) in pure marble. The Pousada de Santa Isabel is an authentic museum with
a tremendously rich estate since, antique furniture, tapestries, decorative pieces, porcelain,
among others. This old palace was built by D. Dinis for his wife, the Queen
Santa Isabel, which gives the name to the inn.

Stop for lunch in Évora before our Tour proceed to Arraiolos, where we will visit the Museum and its famous hand-embroidered rugs full of detail and magic. We continue to the
Castle of Arraiolos which is one of the rare circular castles of the World.

We also extol the preparatory work for the application of the city of Arraiolos to
    World Heritage.

    Return scheduled for 18h30.
